Morgan appeared alongside other actors in the film that provides information Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention and education. The proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan serves as a participant on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Team. Morgan has also led numerous other fundraising initiatives in the fight against AIDS and has testified in front of a specially-created Congressional committee on AIDS Education. She serves on the Board of Governors of APLA along with Amfar. C. Everett Koop asked her to at times take his place in AIDS activities. And she co-hosted the AIDS Awareness Special alongside anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to appear twice on Nightline in relation to AIDS. Morgan was nominated for an Emmy for her performance in the Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. The spring season saw Morgan co-starring with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. She then began her summer season with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show also included Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. Morgan's next production took her to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady which also starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also a part of the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" that was exclusively produced by USA Network. This thriller received the highest reviews of all time for the channel.
